Sales Executive

Role Details

  • Researching & evaluating prospects and their position in the industry
  • Establishing contact and developing relationships with key decision makers at prospects
  • Selling the value proposition of the platform to the prospects
  • Identifying product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors;
  • Preparing reports by collecting, analysing and summarising prospect, sales and client information;
  • Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending relevant industry events, networking, reviewing competitors and their services, etc;
  • Promoting services to institutions of all sizes as customers of the money changers
  • Contributing to company activities as required

Requirements

  • Fluent oral and written English; Malay or Chinese a bonus
  • Comfortable demonstrating technical PC and smartphone-based solutions
  • Highly motivated with high energy level for commission-lead compensation
  • Excellent in presentation and negotiation skills
  • Proven prospecting experience and sales target achievement
  • Proven experience in managing the sales planning process
  • Able to work independently
  • The company will provide the necessary knowledge of the types of knowledge and expertise needed to demonstrate, but prior experience of the money services business, especially with money changers would be advantageous.

Terms of the Role

  • Flexible working arrangements, as long as targets and work activities are met
  • Significant freedom and responsibilities to achieve results in preferred style inline with the sales targets
  • Work will mostly be conducted with clients and the rest of the time from home
  • Have own transportation (preferably a car).  The company will cover fuel, toll and parking in the KL areas and decide a budget for any trips out of town
  • Have own functioning laptop, mobile phone and must be familiar with email, spreadsheets and messaging
  • The company has already sold services to small and large money changers, hence the incumbent will be selling a proven product
  • Base Salary and commissions is open for discussion based on experience.  There is a potential to earn up to MYR100K a year (through commissions)
