Rollout Manager, Asia Pacific Region

Role Details

  1. Responsible for assisting the Regional Rollout leader in managing the rollout of Oracle Financials in the Asia Pacific Region
  2. Works closely with the various teams (Global / Regional IT, Global process owners, Shared services centre etc.) to ensure all agreed milestones are met
  3. This role will be expected to be very hands-on in delivery but also maintain strong management of the standard global processes
  4. Manage all phases of the project from Pre-Requisites to Post Implementation Support
  5. Performing gap analysis on country requirements vis-à-vis the standard global processes and making recommendations on (i) localization needed and (ii) non-compliant processes that need to be changed
  6. Coordinating the data cleansing and data migration work with the team based in the shared service center (SSC) and other Global team members
  7. Work with Global IT to perform Application configuration
  8. Preparing Test Cases & Executing the Test Cases for all localizations agreed
  9. Work with IT Project Manager to conduct regression testing for all localizations agreed
  10. Supporting UAT & User Training (core user, end user and SSC users) and monitor attendance of all participants
  11. Coordinate with SSC team leaders to discuss potential changes to a process arising from any localization and ensuring readiness of the team to handle the work prior to Go Live
  12. Functional Support and resolving issues during Hyper care working closely with all stakeholders involved
  13. Reports directly to the Director, Financial Systems


  • Technical Skills
    1. 8-10 years of implementation and project management experience in Oracle Financials (Release 12)
    2. Good grasp of the overall implementation process
    3. Experience in implementations across Asia Pacific, particularly South East Asia and South Asia
    4. Attention to detail and ability to multi-task and manage senior stakeholders
    5. Strong verbal and written communication skills and a good team player
    6. Graduate / Post graduate qualifications in finance, information technology and / or management
    7. Flexibility to travel
    8. Candidates with experience in managing Order To Cash(OtC), Purchase to Pay (PtP) or Record to Report (RtR) would be an added advantage
    9. Experience in Oracle Financials R12 ( AR, AP, CM, FA, GL and Advanced Collections)
    10. Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, Power Point, Projects)
    11. Working knowledge in operational systems would be an added advantage
    12. Experience in direct interaction with consulting partner / various IT teams in an end-user environment
    13. Ability to match requirements to standard system design / solution and ability to articulate these to the country users / team (with strong compliance to global standards)
    14. Analytical / problem solver – able to understand overall strategic issues as well as tactical objectives and able to relate data/ information logically and consistently to those strategies and objectives

    1. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence at all levels of the organization
    2. Able to work independently
    3. Ability to work and deliver results within agreed timeline
    4. Good communication skills – fluent in spoken & written English. Knowledge of other Asian language would be an added advantage (particularly Thai and Vietnamese)

    6. Ability to work with multi-cultural environment across different time zones
    7. Ability to manage multiple priorities

Terms of the Role

  1. This is a full time role, the employer is open to both a permanent or contractual arrangement
  2. Monthly base salary of MYR 10, 000 – MYR 18,000 per month based on experience and skills
  3. Benefits as per statutory requirements and company policy
